Melody Flyte brings the glamour, warmth and nostalgia of vintage music to life with a rich repertoire spanning the 1930s to the 1960s. From wartime favourites and timeless jazz standards to rock ’n’ roll, soul, Hollywood musicals and Music Hall classics, Melody creates performances full of character, style and a genuine love for the songs of the past.
Sophisticated, timeless and full of swing. Melody performs classics from the Great American Songbook and the golden age of jazz, drawing inspiration from legendary singers such as Ella Fitzgerald and Frank Sinatra.
Step back to the 1940s with much-loved songs from the wartime years. Perfect for 1940s events, afternoon teas and heritage occasions, Melody can create a performance that is uplifting, sentimental and wonderfully evocative of the era.
From the energy of 1950s rock ’n’ roll to the unforgettable sounds of the 1960s, Melody’s vintage pop brings a little more sparkle to the party. Expect familiar favourites, soulful classics and feel-good songs you can sing and dance along to.
I booked Melody for our wedding party- she was AMAZING! So many guests commented on how great she was. I would 100% book her again... a great night.

FANTASTIC - what more can I say. The only trouble was that the songs were so good that people wanted to dance but they forget what age they are now!!

The Golden Age of Song - the time of Gershwin, Berlin, Dorothy Fields and Cole Porter - has never been equalled in popular music. Find out how this music developed to become - for a time - America's No. 1 form of entertainment.
Stories, songs and experiences of the ENSA performers who kept up morale at home and abroad, on the stage and the radio, on the deserts, in the jungle, on the ships and in the factories - including Vera Lynn and Gracie Fields.
The British 1960s divas, including Dusty Springfield, Petula Clark and Shirley Bassey, were not just singers but musical and fashion icons. Melody sets their achievements in context and performs their most famous hits.
